The buildings located between Yili Yan, Yan Lu Anli Hunan and Hebei and Lu, have undergone several transformations that haveled to a loss of identity and deterioration of the area. The goal of this project is to restore the area with the character it deserves. It is essential to recover the style and spirit of the original buildings but also to adapt them to a new function, and to do so in a modern fashion. The shape, composition and texture of the original buildings are kept, limiting the use of modern style and materials to the occasional extensions necessary to complete the 6.000m2 of surface required by the client. Thus, some buildings grow and join the adjacent ones adjusting their shape and volume to the required use. The transition between modern and classic is made in a clear but respectful way.
