The building is located in the southern part of a new urban development in Tongling, China. The program mixes retail space in the horizontal volume of the building, with offices which are located in the vertical piece. The great longitudinal piece that makes the plinth is airtight, almost stony, although connected with the commercial space at the street level with a succession of domes of different sizes that make it permeable downstairs. The tower is designed to capture much light as possible, while it protects from solar radiation by a brise-soleil that makes up the aspect of the building.
