其基本设计理念是在天地之间创造一个联合体，其位置靠近机场，同享一片天空，以材料和地球的形状来表达。 此建筑分成三层，每层有自己的功能和外观处理，建筑的每个部分从外看上去有其不同的表现和总的理念是如同红陶土的体量，从地上升到天空中。好似很自然的本身就存在的。身体的主体部分是酒店，在其余部分纸上。这个部分建筑在一面通风的墙面上，装饰着大地色的网状结构。东南墙面也使用了同样的装饰，传递了一个基本的如红陶土的理念。 在赢得比赛后，客户决定更换墙面的材料，所以最终使用了金属质感的结构和玻璃材料。
